Welcome to the Kirbo Center..
The Charles H. Kirbo Regional Center addresses a need identified by the college and community leaders for a local venue with conference capabilities. The grand opening of the $15 million dollar center in October 2008 was the culmination of several years of planning by local and state funding sources, and five years of construction.
Named in honor of Charles H. Kirbo, a Bainbridge native, attorney and real estate executive, it is the first officially named building on the campus. In the early 1970s Kirbo was instrumental in gaining community and State Board of Regents support for the location and creation of a college in Bainbridge, and donated most of the land on which Bainbridge College now stands.
The Kirbo Regional Conference Center offers complete modern conference capability in a serene setting. Single room options are also available to meet individual needs.
The distinctive architectural design creates an atmosphere of sophisticated elegance. The impressive canopied entryway leads to spacious greeting areas, lobbies and galleries unlike traditional hotel banquet rooms.
The Charles H. Kirbo Center boasts over 33,000 square feet of dedicated meeting space, rooms to comfortably accommodate groups of 2 to 300. Permanent and continuous refreshment breaks are conveniently located near all rooms.
